Welcome to Lexus Open European Challenge Tour
On behalf of the European Challenge Tour, welcome to the 2007 Lexus Open, where we hope you will witness many of European golf’s next generation of stars in the making.
The Challenge Tour is widely recognised as the best route for young professionals to make their way to their way to the game’s highest level, with the top 20 players at the end of each season earning full playing rights to The European Tour the following season.
The Lexus Open can provide Norwegian players with the opportunity establish themselves on the Challenge Tour, and could be the beginning of a new chapter in the careers of established Norwegian players such as Jan-Are Larsen.
We are indebted to the Norwegian Golf Federation and tournament sponsors Lexus, who have worked closely to make the Lexus Open possible for the second consecutive year. Without the invaluable support of National Federations as you have in Norway, and quality sponsors like Lexus, the Challenge Tour would not be as strong as it is today.

På vegne av Miklagard Golfklubb ønsker vi dere velkommen til Lexus Open
2007. Vi håper på mange gode golfslag, god stemning og at turneringen
gjennomføres etter ”fair play” prinsippet.
Det er med stor glede Miklagard Golfklubb mottar Lexus Open på vårt anlegg.
Vi har ambisjoner om å være Norges beste og en av Europas beste golfbaner,
og Lexus Open vil hjelpe oss i vår streben etter å oppnå dette.
Vårt banemannskap og de frivillige har gjort en enorm innsats for å presentere
banen fra sin beste side under turneringen. Vi er sikre på at spillerne vil være
meget fornøyd med kvaliteten og opplevelsen under turneringen. Vårt mål med
denne turneringen er å sette opp en bane som er så rettferdig som mulig for
alle deltagerne. Noen forhold kan ikke kontrolleres (været), men vi har gjort
vårt ytterste for at alle deltagerne skal ha lik sjanse til å gjennomføre en god
turnering.
Vi er meget stolte av anlegget vårt og håper at alle som kommer hit under
turneringen vil få noen fl otte minner fra denne opplevelsen på Miklagard
Golfklubb.

The greenkeepers and the volunteers have done a great job in order to present
the course from its best side during the tournament. We hope that the players
will appreciate the effort and be pleased with the quality and the memories
from Miklagard. Our goal is the give the players a true, challenging and equal
test of golf.
We are very proud of our golf course and hope that all participants will have a
